Hope. Recovery. Community.
Welcome to Muslim Peer Services
Muslim Peer Services (MPS) is a Staten Island-based mental health organization and a division of Baitul Jamaat – House of Community. We provide comprehensive peer support that fosters hope, recovery, and community well-being. Our team of certified peer specialists and recovery coaches bring lived experience and professional training to every interaction.

What is Peer Support?
Peer support is built on shared experience. It’s a space where you’re heard by someone who has walked a similar path. Our peer support specialists use their own recovery journeys to offer empathy, guidance, and hope. Through one-on-one sessions, small groups, or online gatherings, they help you feel seen, supported, and less alone.
Programs
From one-on-one peer support to group counseling, recovery coaching, youth mentorship, and community workshops — we offer a full spectrum of compassionate, evidence-based services.
